The Lasting Hope is a band from southern Indiana with a desire to reach this generation with the Gospel through not only their music, but their lives. The Lasting Hope was formed in 2010 by Logan Oakes (Lead Vocals/Guitar) and Craig Banister (Guitar). The band started leading worship at local churches that year which provided valuable experience. For the next few years, The Lasting Hope would continue to progress and continue to spread their ministry. The band later
added Tanner Marling on bass and Braxton Comer on drums. The Lasting Hope has had the opportunity to open for artists such as, Toby Mac, Mandisa, Ryan Stevenson, 7eventh Time Down, Hawk Nelson, Switchfoot, Mercy Me, Colton Dixon, and more. The band released their second EP, ​Vandals​, in February of 2016. The Lasting Hope continued crafting their sound and in April of 2016, entered the studio with Jarrod Ingram and Blake Hubbard, formally of Royal Tailor. Through this process, the band has created a fresh pop/rock sound that is current and suitable for radio.
